War Museum Tour

Squadron member Pierre Garneau, a tour guide at the War Museum, has again generously offered to conduct a free tour of the Museum, on two consecutive monthly Thursdays. This offer is open to Ottawa Squadron members and families.
Pierre is very knowledgeable, having served in the Canadian Army for many years, and has extensive experience with much of the equipment. The museum is very large with many exhibits, and each tour is a total of six hours, divided into two 3-hour tours on a Thursday each month, for two consecutive months.
The next set of tours will start on Thursday 27 March 2008, and continuing on Thursday 10 April 2008. Start time will be at 1800 hours sharp, finishing up at 2100 hours. If interest continues, Pierre is willing to conduct additional tours in 2008.
The number of people in the tour is limited to eight, so vacancies are on a "first-come first-served" basis. If you wish to attend, please use our Online Registration form on the upper right side of this page. Due to the popularity of the previous tour, we are experiencing overflows and maintaining a list of interested parties. Please do not sign up for a tour unless you are able to attend both nights.
There is a cafeteria on site for those who come directly from work and wish to have a bite to eat.
Parking is metered outside the building, and there is a fee is charged for indoor parking.
