Registration: Via website registration. We will need a minimum
of 10 people to ensure the course is conducted. Monies are fully refundable if attendance is cancelled
up to 48 hours before the session.
This highly interactive 2-part introductory, non-certificate course is designed to teach
essential first aid and most emergency life-saving skills. It's ideal
for busy people.
CPR Course Topics Include :
The “Adult” Level Heartsaver CPR course can provide you with the
knowledge and skill to help you save a member of the family, a close
friend or perhaps the person next to you, because heart attacks can
strike anyone, anytime. This CPR course is ideal for the general public,
business, industry and education.

• causes and prevention of heart disease and stroke
• recognition and first aid for Heart Attack and Stroke
• choking-adult
• one rescuer CPR for adult
• introduction to AED

This St. John Ambulance Lifesaver course is designed specifically
to teach essential lifesaving first aid skills to people of all
ages—people "who always meant to learn first aid, but never had the
time". Too many times, help comes too late. A child chokes. A
swimmer drowns.
A few seconds of first aid could have saved a life.
You will learn:
• emergency scene management
• how to care for shock
• what to do when someone stops breathing
• how to help a person who is choking
• how to control severe bleeding
• how to care for someone who has fainted and is unconscious
• what to do if poisoning is suspected
• how to care for burns
Wear casual clothing, and bring your own lunch, snacks etc. (There is a
Tim Hortons nearby)
